Hello I am Natalie! I’m a 3rd year BS/MS accounting major that joined PASS in Spring 2023. Being a member of PASS has allowed me to get a head start on job seeking and networking as the organization provides weekly guest speakers that inform us about the variety of accounting careers. I am also a member of the Accounting Scholars Program and Beta Alpha Psi. Besides accounting, I also work at the Center for Leadership and Service at UNT as a student assistant, helping to organize volunteer events. After I graduate, my ultimate goal would be to provide free tax returns for the local community regardless of qualifications because I believe no one should have to suffer financially for a mandatory service. I look forward to helping your through PASS and personally!
Greetings! I am a junior BS/MS Accounting student here at North Texas. This is my second semester as a member of PASS and first as treasurer. The benefit of this organization is the exposure to the professional world of accounting that is typically not covered in courses. Beyond PASS, I am a member of Club Tennis, an avid fan of UNT athletics (especially basketball), and a bass player. I also work in the Learning Center as a Supplemental Instructor for ACCT 2010. I look forward to what lies ahead this semester and beyond.
Hello! My name is Keshia Walker and I am a senior in the BS/MS Accounting program with an expected graduation of May 2025. I transferred to the University of North Texas in Spring 2021 after graduating from Grayson County College with an Associate of Science in Business Administration and a Certificate in Accounting in December 2020. I am a member of AICPA and ISACA and plan to pursue CISA and CFE certifications in addition to being a CPA. I joined PASS during the Fall 2021 semester and instantly felt at home as a first-generation and non-traditional student. My favorite aspect of PASS has been the presentation of both traditional and non-traditional career opportunities for accountants. Outside of UNT and PASS, I am the mother of two daughters: a 5-year-old and 1 year old. I have been married for 11 years and my husband and I have been together for a total of 16 years. Family is of the utmost importance to me, and I enjoy spending time with them. In my alone time, I love to crochet while listening to music or watching documentaries, usually associated with crime or history. Because alone time is rare as a mom, I’ve come to enjoy spending time outdoors, usually at a playground and I love to garden! Fun fact: Bluey is my favorite animated series!
Hi, I’m Gaby! I’m in my junior year of BS/MS accounting, planning a concentration in taxation and data analytics for my MS. I joined PASS in Fall 2023, and through PASS, I hope to meet some likeminded peers and gain some insights on non-traditional paths in accounting, especially anything related to tax and fraud as that is what I plan on specializing in. Outside of PASS, I'm working as a part-time tax intern for UNT System, learning more about state and international tax and how it relates to employees here at UNT. I also like to wind down with creative writing, and I’ve recently gotten into escape rooms!

Hello, I’m Emily! I’m a BS/MS Accounting major graduating in Spring of 2026. I joined PASS last semester and loved all of the opportunities to network with professionals and other students. Being a member of an organization is a great way to get a head start on developing your career, and looks great to recruiters too. In addition to PASS, I’m a member of Beta Alpha Psi and UNT’s Camerata choir. In my free time, I like to read and go on hikes with my husband, who I married in August 2022. After graduation, I hope to move to Colorado to work in tax at a midsize firm
